2: Yellow onions

Canned goods
3 cups: Beef broth or stock

Baking & spices
1: Kosher salt and pepper

2 tbsp: Butter

Beer, wine & spirits
1 cup: Red wine, dry

Other
2 (29-ounce) cans: Whole tomatoes and their juices, crushed by hand (i like san marzanos)
